Gut Check: Spending the day working in the bee hives, hundreds and thousands of bees buzzing around me while I am disrupting their day and hives. Plenty of them were buzzing at my face while I went about my work–and then I realized one of the bees I was seeing in my peripheral vision was INSIDE the hood with me!! Gut check is having to calmly walk across the pasture with annoyed honeybees following me and buzzing their annoyance, while I kept an eye on the one in my hood and hoped she did not take up their annoyance. Fortunately she did not and I was able to walk back to the shop and lose the entourage, unzip the hood and safely remove and release her. Whew!

recommendsTonight I grilled the chicken thighs I bought from Sweet Gum Farm. They were delicious. Full of flavor, smooth texture... and so juicy. I’m glad I didn’t use any seasoning but salt and pepper. The thighs didn’t need any other seasoning.
