I had planned on starting a series of posts today showing the new chicken tractor (Mobile Coop) that we are going to build this year, but when we hooked up the trailer to go purchase all of the lumber none of the turn and indicator lights on the trailer were working. So on my back under the trailer I go looking for what could be casuing this issue. I started at the back and of course as always didn’t find any issue until I got to the last part, at the front of the trailer. Thought maybe there would be a single wire that was broken but what I found was all 5 wires chewed off. So instead of picking up lumber today I spent the afternoon fixing wiring on the trailer. Hopefully soon I will be able to start posting about building the new chicken tractor.

Tonight I grilled the chicken thighs I bought from Sweet Gum Farm. They were delicious. Full of flavor, smooth texture... and so juicy. I’m glad I didn’t use any seasoning but salt and pepper. The thighs didn’t need any other seasoning. It was a pleasure to eat chicken that wasn’t tough and rubbery like the stuff I buy at the grocery store. Thank you for excellent chicken 🐓read more
